About

Clinical pharmacology modeling and analysis software is an essential and fundamental tool for drug development and model-based individualized drug therapy. The Clinical Pharmacology Modeling Analysis and Statistics (CPhaMAS) Cloud Platform, jointly developed by Central South University, National University of Defense Technology, National Engineering Research Center of Personalized Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technology, Furong Labratory, Changsha, Hunan and Changsha Xutong Technology Co., Ltd, contains four main modules commonly used in clinical pharmacology research:

  • Non-compartment Analysis Module: statistics of pharmacokinetic parameters and visual analysis of concentration-time graphs.
  • Bioequivalence/Bioavailability Analysis Module: Statistics and sample size calculation of bioequivalence test results for common drugs, highly variable drugs and narrow therapeutic drugs. Bootstrap function module for predicting formal BE success rate from pre-BE data has been specially developed to meet the current needs of industry.
  • Compartment Analysis Module: compartment-based model construction and simulation.
  • PopulationPharmacokinetics Module: nonlinear mixed-effects model construction.

CPhaMAS is led by Prof. Yang Guoping, who organized a team including Prof. Pei Qi, Prof. Cao Dongsheng, Prof. Wang Hong, and Researcher Wu Chengkun, in conjunction with Changsha Xutong Technology Co., Ltd. and a R&D backbone team consisting of Jiang Dan, Zuo Yonghui, Zou Yi, Lu Feng, Yuan Jinghan, and Kuang Yun, relying on the National Engineering Research Center of Personalized Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technology, the National Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Drug Clinical Evaluation Technology, the Furong Laboratory, Changsha, Hunan, China, State Key Laboratory of High Performance Computing, Center for Drug Clinical Evaluation of Central South University, and Cross Research Center for Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacy of Central South University, etc. After years of research and development, we have successfully launched the first clinical pharmacology modeling and statistics cloud platform with independent intellectual property rights in China, which provides a new software platform option for related users in China.

In addition, the teaching of clinical pharmacology (including pharmacokinetics, biopharmacology and other related courses) in modeling and statistics has been lacking a convenient professional software tool, CPhaMAS enables students to better understand the relevant theories, and the research team plans that CPhaMAS will provide long-term free teaching services for universities. The public beta version of CPhaMAS is free for real-name registered users, and experts in the field are welcome to register for trial and give their valuable opinions. We will continue to improve the algorithm, optimize the interface, and enhance the user experience, as well as continue to develop new functional modules in the future.
